ORIGINS OF THE GLASS BLOCK COMPANY
Our Story
In the late 1990s, Scott Harrison took his first step into entrepreneurship with the launch of The Glass Block Place, a company originally located on Washington Street in Charleston, WV. This venture marked his official introduction into both the business and construction industries.
What began as a small startup focused on the installation of glass block windows quickly grew in reputation due to Scott’s hands-on approach, attention to detail, and dedication to customer satisfaction. The Glass Block Place grew from its foundation in residential basement windows, garage windows, and custom bathroom shower wall installations—to various commercial applications throughout the East Coast of United States.
This first business endeavor not only taught Scott the fundamentals of running a company but also laid the groundwork for what would become a lifelong career in construction. The skills, values, and relationships developed during those early years became the foundation for future ventures—including the growth of BNA Construction and its many specialized divisions today.
Over 70,000 basement windows later, The Glass Block Place remains a trusted name and now only primarly offers residential installations of Basement Windows - carrying forward the same commitment to craftsmanship and integrity built 30 years ago.

We have three stock options. All are obsure and brighten interior spaces. Decora allows distorted images while Ice Scapes or Delphi are more private
Hopper Vents
Hopper Vents can be installed in place of 2-3 Block to allow for natural air flow when wanted. They are kinda like a small window - within the window.
Also, we can make these larger and unlockable on all corners for a Pop-Out Style for those whom want an escape hatch.
